Sandimmun-Neoral Oral Solution 100 Mg / 50 Ml is used for the treatment and prevention of organ transplant failure and for managing certain immune-related conditions, such as severe rheumatoid arthritis.
Each milliliter contains 100 mg of the active ingredient Cyclosporine, an immunosuppressant.
Neoral oral suspension is used for:
Prevention of organ transplant failure or rejection.
Treatment of organ transplant failure in patients previously on immunosuppressive medications.
Treatment of endogenous uveitis.
Treatment of nephrotic syndrome.
Treatment of severe rheumatoid arthritis unresponsive to conventional therapy.
Treatment of severe psoriasis unresponsive to conventional therapy.
Treatment of severe atopic dermatitis unresponsive to conventional therapy.
The doctor determines the appropriate dose based on the patient’s condition.
The dose should be divided into two doses daily.
Neoral oral suspension may cause some side effects, including:
Low white blood cell count
Loss of appetite
High blood sugar levels
Headache
Seizures
High blood pressure
Nausea
Vomiting
Diarrhea
Stomach ulcers
Neoral should not be used in the following cases:
Hypersensitivity to any of its components
Kidney failure (except in cases of nephrotic syndrome)
Uncontrolled high blood pressure
Uncontrollable infections
History of any type of cancer (except previous or precancerous skin lesions)
Caution should be taken, and the doctor should be informed of any medications you are taking before using Sandimune oral suspension, especially:
Antibiotics
Anti-epileptic drugs
Antifungal medications
Oral contraceptives
Antiviral drugs
Keep out of reach of children.
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C.
Can be stored up to 30 °C for a maximum of 3 months.
Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
