Pabal injection contains 100 mcg of the active ingredient "Carbetocin" per 1 ml. It binds to oxytocin receptors in the uterus, stimulating uterine contractions to control vaginal bleeding after childbirth.

How to use Pabal Injection?

Pabal dose in the case of Cesarean section under spinal or epidural anesthesia: 1 ml by intravenous (IV) injection.

In the case of vaginal delivery: 1 ml by intramuscular (IM) or intravenous (IV) injection.

In the case of intravenous injection, the medication should be administered slowly over one minute.

The medication must not be used until after the baby has been delivered, and as soon as possible thereafter, preferably before the delivery of the placenta.
