Riazolin eye drop is used in cases of irritation of the eyes and itching, it contains the active substance naphazoline, a derivative of the imidazoline family, which acts by directly affecting alpha receptors and causing narrowing of blood vessels in the eye.
Limit burning eyes, eye irritation, dry eyes.
Riazolin nasal drop is used in cases of nasal congestion caused by inflammation of the paranasal sinuses or upper respiratory tract.
Riazolin eye drop for children may cause some side effects such as:
Blurred vision.
Low or high intraocular pressure.
Itching.
A headache.
Dizziness.
Do not use a drop of riazolin in the following cases:
Infection with one of the types of glaucoma of the eye.
Hypersensitivity to one of its components.
Riazolin nasal drop is used in the following cases only after consulting a doctor:
Heart disease.
High blood pressure.
Use of contact lenses.
Diseases of the thyroid gland.
Riazolin eye drops for pregnant women are used under the supervision of a doctor.
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
Make sure that the package of the riazolin drop is intact and that it is not damaged.
Check the expiration date of the drop.
Tilt the head back slightly.
Pull the lower eyelid down to create a small pocket between the eye, the eyelid.
Gently squeeze the bottle to squeeze one drop (or two, depending on the doctor's instructions) out into the pocket.
Close your eyes for a minute or two.
Gently press on the side of your nose (the side closest to the eye where the drop was applied) for a minute or two to help absorb the medicine.
The duration of use of a drop of riazolin is no more than 72 hours without consulting a doctor.
Riazolin 0.1 eye drops is kept at a temperature below 25 degrees Celsius, out of the reach of children.
