Exelon patches are placed once a day on the skin, which is dry and hairless, in the top or lower back, chest, or upper arm.
It is not recommended to apply an Exelon patch on the thigh or abdomen, because it affects the bioavailability of the active substance.
The Exelon patch should be replaced with a new one after 24 hours.
Exelon patches are not used on inflamed, red, or wounded skin.
Exelon patches should be avoided in the same skin place for 14 days to avoid skin irritation.
If the Exelon patch falls, another new one must be placed for the rest of the day.
Exelon Patch can be used throughout your day normally, even during a shower or hot weather.
Exelon patches should not be exposed to high temperatures for a long time, such as a sauna or excessive exposure to sunlight.
Hands should be washed with soap and water after placing or removing the Exelon patch.
