Profix 5 ml drop acts as an anti-inflammatory and is one of the non-steroidal painkillers containing the active substance bromifenac sodium, and works by lowering the level of prostaglandin production in the body responsible for the occurrence of inflammation.
Profix 5 ml drop is used in the following cases:
Reduce eye swelling.
Reduction of eye inflammation.
Reduce the symptoms of inflammation, swelling of the eye after cataract removal procedure.

Some minor side effects are possible, such as:
Irritation of the conjunctiva.
Dry eyes.
Increased sensitivity to light.
Blurred vision.
A headache.
Inflammation of the iris.
The eye itches.
Eye pain.
The use of Profix in these cases is possible only after consulting a doctor:
Dry eyes.
Irritation of the cornea.
Kidney disease.
Chronic pulmonary embolism.
Pregnancy, lactation.
Profix drop should not be used in these cases:
Excessive sensitivity to one of the components of Profix 5 ml.
Aspirin allergy.
Profix drop is used according to the doctor's instructions, but the recommended dosage is one ball per day for the affected eye the day before the procedure, and up to 14 days.
It is advisable to avoid using contact lenses with Profix.
Driving cars should be avoided.
Profix 5 ml is kept at a temperature below 25 degrees Celsius, out of the reach of children.
