Cureaml contains hydroxyurea, a chemotherapy drug, which is used to treat many cancers.
Cureaml is used to treat:
Sickle cell anemia to reduce painful crises, and the need for blood transfusion.
Chronic myeloid leukemia.
Ovarian cancer.
Some types of skin cancer.
The usual dose is one capsule per day or as directed by the doctor.
Cureaml may cause side effects, such as:
Nausea.
anorexia.
Constipation.
Diarrhea.
Decreased blood cell count.
bleeding.
Mouth ulcers.
Both men and women must use birth control, as the use of medication by either parent may increase the chances of birth defects.
Skin should be protected from sunlight and use sunscreen with the use of the drug, as it may increase the risk of certain cancers, such as leukemia and skin cancer.
The drug may weaken the immune system, so consult your doctor immediately after experiencing fever, chills, body pain, shortness of breath, bruises, or unusual bleeding.

The doctor should also be informed before using the medication if you have suffered any of the following diseases before:
kidney disease.
liver disease.
wounds or ulcers in the leg.
AIDS, especially with taking antiretroviral drugs.
High levels of uric acid in the blood or gout.
Interferon therapy, chemotherapy or radiotherapy.
