ACTOLIND W GEL 50 ML
Actolind W Gel 50 ml is a medical antimicrobial gel designed for cleansing, protecting, and moistening wounds. It is used alongside dressings, gauze, and wound fillers for chronic and infected wounds, as well as first- and second-degree burns. It cleanses and hydrates the wound bed, isolating it from the external environment by forming a protective film barrier. This fills the gap between the dressing and the wound surface, helping to accelerate healing by maintaining wound stability.
What is Actolind gel used for?

-

Directions for Use
-
It is recommended to first cleanse the wound surface with ACTOLIND W Solution to remove contaminants, exudate, necrotic tissue, and crusts prior to gel application.
-
After cleansing the wound, apply an adequate amount of ACTOLIND W Gel to completely cover the entire wound surface.
-
The gel can be applied directly onto the wound, or onto the dressing/gauze.
-
Apply an appropriate secondary dressing over the gel after fully covering the wound bed.
-
There is no need to rinse or remove the gel once applied; it can remain on the wound bed until the next dressing change.
-
During dressing changes, ACTOLIND W Solution can be used to help remove the remaining gel layer, slough, or crusts before reapplying the gel.
-
Reapply the gel regularly with every dressing change according to wound condition and medical advice.
-
Do not reuse materials such as gauze, dressings, or wipes that have come into contact with the wound.
