How to Use Cortiment 30 Tablets

  • Recommended dose for adults: One 9 mg tablet daily in the morning, with or without food.

  • Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not chew, crush, or break the tablet.

  • Take the medication at the same time each day for best effectiveness and easy adherence.

  • Duration of treatment:

    • Do not stop taking the medication unless advised by your doctor.

    • Treatment usually lasts around 8 weeks.

Side Effects

Some possible side effects include:

  • Heartburn or acid reflux.

  • Abdominal cramps or pain.

  • Nausea or headache.

  • Rash or itching.

  • Blurred vision or vision changes.

  • Not for use in children or adolescents under 18 years old.

  • Inform your doctor before starting treatment if you:

    • Have or had chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, mental health issues, kidney or liver disease).
