Staquis Ointment contains the active ingredient Crisaborole, a phosphodiesterase-4 (PDE4) inhibitor. It is an anti-inflammatory agent that helps maintain the skin barrier.
Staquis Ointment is used to treat mild to moderate atopic dermatitis (eczema) in:
Adults
Children aged 2 years and older with up to 40% of body surface area affected
It is a non-steroidal eczema treatment.
Apply a thin layer of the ointment to the affected area of the skin twice daily: once in the morning and once in the evening.
Gently massage the ointment into the skin until fully absorbed.
If there is hair on the skin, apply in one direction to avoid irritation or inflammation.
Avoid bathing, swimming, or washing off the ointment for at least four hours after application.
Continue using Staquis Ointment as prescribed by your doctor.
Staquis Ointment may cause some side effects, such as stinging or burning sensation
Do not use Staquis ointment in cases of:
Hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients
Other skin conditions for which it is not prescribed
Staquis ointment is for external use only.
Do not apply to the eyes, mouth, or vaginal area.
It should not be used on the scalp.
Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
