Invega tablets uses

Invega tablets are used to treat:

  • Schizophrenia in adults and adolescents aged 15 years and older.

  • Schizoaffective disorder in adults.

Dosage of Invega 6 mg Tablets

  • The doctor determines the appropriate dosage depending on the patient’s condition.

  • Recommended dose for schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder in adults: 6 mg once daily in the morning.

  • The doctor may reduce or increase the dose depending on the patient’s response.

Side Effects of Invega Tablets

Invega may cause some side effects, such as:

  • Upper respiratory tract infection

  • Urinary tract infection

  • Weight gain or loss

  • Increased or decreased appetite

  • Insomnia

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Dizziness

  • Drowsiness

  • Headache

  • Amenorrhea in women

Contraindications
