Scopinal syrup contains the active substance Hyoscine butyl bromide, an antimuscarinic, which relieves spasm of the digestive system, biliary or urinary system.
Scopinal syrup is used to treat:
Gastrointestinal spasms.
Pylorospasm (the part between the stomach and the duodenum) in infants.
Vomiting and motion sickness after operations.
Irritable bowel syndrome.
Colon spasm.
Biliary colic.
Renal colic.
Spasms during dysmenorrhea.
Nocturnal enuresis.
Adults and children older than 6 years: 2 teaspoons 3 - 5 times daily.
Children older than one year: 1 - 2 teaspoons 3 times daily.
