NORMACOL PLUS GRANULES

Normacol plus granules contain natural fibers, as well as laxatives to facilitate bowel movement and overcome constipation.

What is Normacol Plus?

Normacol plus granules for constipation, containing:

• Sterculia 62%: Natural fibers swell after contact with fluids, do not interact with them by gastrointestinal bacteria, and then help to get rid of constipation.

• Frangula bark powder 8%: herbal stimulant laxative.

Uses of Normacol Plus sachets

Normacol Plus is used to treat constipation.

How to use Normacol Plus?

• For adults and children older than 12 years: 1 - 2 tablespoons heaped 5 ml once or twice daily after eating, or according to the doctor's instructions.

• Apply dry granules to the tongue, then swallow immediately with appropriate water.

• It is not recommended to take Normacol Plus if you lie down or just before bedtime.

• Do not chew Normacol Plus granules.

• Do not use for more than 1 - 2 weeks without consulting a doctor.

Normacol Plus Precautions

• Abundant amounts of water and increased fiber should be consumed in the diet except in cases of constipation caused by medication.

• Normacol Plus may interact with other drugs and affect their absorption, so you should consult a doctor before using it alongside any other medication.

• If bowel movement doesn’t happen with the use of Normacol Plus granules and 4 days have passed, they should stop taking the medication and consult a doctor immediately.

• Granules contain sugars, which can harm people with diabetes.

• Prolonged use of granules can lead to unpleasant effects, and may always be relied upon for bowel movement (dependancy).

Contraindications of normacol plus

• Abdominal pain.

• Nausea or vomiting.

• Children under 12 years of age.

• Pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Preservation and storage of the drug

• Keep at a temperature of less than 25 ° C.

• Keep away from children's hands.

• Not used after expiry.

• Not used if the package is torn.

Difference between Normacol and Normacol Plus

Normacol Plus contains both Strculia, which is fiber, and frangula bark powder, which is an herbal laxative that stimulates bowel movement. Normacol contains only Sterculia and does not contain frangula bark powder.
