CLEXAN 2000 IU INJECTION

Active ingredient: Enoxaparin sodium

Dosage form: Injection

Concentration of dosage: 20 mg/ml, 40 mg/ml, 60 mg/ml, 100 mg/ml

Mechanism of action: Enoxaparin is a low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) that works by inhibiting factor Xa, a protein that plays an important role in the blood clotting process. By inhibiting factor Xa, enoxaparin helps to prevent and treat blood clots.

Uses: Clexane Injection is used to:

Prevent blood clots in people who are at high risk for venous thromboembolism (VTE), such as after surgery or during prolonged periods of immobility.

Treat deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE).

Reduce the risk of death in people with unstable angina or non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI) when used in combination with aspirin.

Here are some general tips for using Clexane Injection:

Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before and after giving yourself an injection.

Inject Clexane Injection into a clean, dry area of skin on the front of your stomach or the outside of your thigh.

Change the injection site each time to reduce skin irritation.

Avoid injecting into areas that are bruised, red, or tender.

Pinch the fold of skin between your thumb and forefinger and insert the needle at a 90-degree angle.

Inject the medication slowly and smoothly.

Do not massage the injection site after the injection.
