To inject Eprex subcutaneously:

Choose a clean injection site on your abdomen, thigh, or buttock.
Wipe the injection site with an alcohol swab.
Remove the needle cap from the pre-filled syringe.
Pinch a fold of skin at the injection site.
Insert the needle into the fold of skin at a 45-degree angle.
Inject the medication slowly.
Remove the needle and release the fold of skin.
Apply pressure to the injection site with a cotton ball or gauze.
To inject Eprex intravenously:
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
Prepare the intravenous (IV) line according to your doctor's instructions.
Remove the needle cap from the pre-filled syringe.
Connect the syringe to the IV line.
Inject the medication slowly.
Disconnect the syringe from the IV line.
Flush the IV line with saline solution.
