Rabezole belongs to a group of medicines called proton pump inhibitors, and has a long-acting effect by reducing acid secretion in the stomach.
Rabezole is used in the treatment of duodenal ulcers and esophagitis.
Dosage:
For the treatment of ulcerative GERD, the patient is given 20 mg daily for 4-8 weeks. If symptoms do not resolve within 8 weeks, the treatment period may be extended for another 8 weeks.
The patient who suffers from heartburn is given a daily dose of 20 mg for 4 weeks, and if it does not recover, the treatment period is extended to 8 weeks.
Stomach ulcer patient is given Rabezole at a dose of 20 mg for 4 weeks.
