What are the uses of Rhofalac?
- A medicine used to prevent idiopathic thrombocytopenia (ITP).
- It is given during pregnancy for the birth of an RhD-positive child, the mother, in this case, is RhD-negative and the father is RhD-positive.
- Miscarriages, amniocentesis or ectopic pregnancies.
- It is given to people with rhesus factor negative, after transfusion of RhD positive blood.

What are the doses of Ruffalac and methods of use?
Recommended initial dose for adults: 50 mcg/kg as a single injection, or it may be given as a divided dose if the person has low hemoglobin levels and the dose is reduced.
During pregnancy in general, the dose is given at 28 weeks. If the dose is received, if it is early in pregnancy, it is repeated every 12 weeks to ensure appropriate levels of anti-Rh factor.
