Proton drug contains the active substance "omeprazole", a proton pump inhibitor, which helps reduce stomach acid secretion and treat oesophageal reflux.
Proton is used to treat:
Gastroesophageal reflux symptoms, such as heartburn.

Duodenal ulcers
Erosive oesophagitis.

The usual dosage is one 20 mg tablet per day.
The drug is not used for more than two weeks without consulting a doctor.
It can take 1 - 4 days for the drug to become effective in relieving symptoms.
Proton may cause some side effects, such as:
headache.
Diarrhea.
Nausea and vomiting.
Bloating.
dizziness.
Constipation.
osteoporosis.
Vitamin B12 deficiency with prolonged use.
Proton is not used in the case of:
Allergy to drug ingredients.
Take HIV medications.
