  • Eye disorders, such as herpes zoster ophthalmicus, iritis, diffuse posterior uveitis, and optic neuritis.

  • Crohn's disease.

  • Ulcerative colitis.

  • Nephrotic syndrome without uremia, to help diuresis.

  • Acquired hemolytic anemia, and some other types of anemia.

  • Treatment of adrenocortical insufficiency.

Depo-Medrol injections are used for arthritis of various kinds, be it rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, gouty, or others, and may be used for intra-synovial injections.
