Myfortic 360 is one of the types of drugs that suppress the immune system, the organ responsible for countering infection in the body. It is used in cases of transplantation of internal organs to suppress immunity, prevent the body's resistance to organ transplantation.

Using Myfortic 360 mg

Myfortic 360 mg medication is used in the following cases:

• Reducing the activity of certain cells that act as part of the immune system to qualify the body for organ transplantation.

• Inhibition of the immune system so that rejection does not occur during organ transplant operations such as kidney transplantation.

Myfortic side effect

The myfortic drug causes some side effects as follows:

• Constipation.

• Diarrhea.

• Headaches.

• Dizziness.

• Anxiety, stress.

• Loss of appetite.

• In addition to some other side effects that should be consulted immediately by a doctor when any of them appear such as:

• The appearance of bloody stools.

• The appearance of an allergic reaction such as (itching, tightness in the chest, difficulty breathing, swelling of the mouth, face)

• Night sweats.

• Fainting.

• Arrhythmia of the heart.

• Bloody vomiting.

• Yellowing of the skin, eyes.

Contraindications to the use of myfortic 360 

Myfortic tablet medication is used only after consulting a doctor, and its percentage of danger increases in the following cases:

• It is not used if you are allergic to one of the components of the myfortic tablet.

• It is used with caution in the treatment of the elderly, children because they are more susceptible to allergic side effects.

• Myfortic tablet is contraindicated in cases of pregnancy or pregnancy planning, as it may cause congenital malformations or fetal death.

How to use myfortic treatment

• Myfortic tablet is used according to the dosage prescribed by the doctor.

• The usual myfortic dose is 720 mg/ 12 hours / day.

• It is used orally in the morning at least one or two hours before eating.
