Xultophy Insulin 5Pe 3Ml injectable pens that contain insulin and liraglutide, used to treat type 2 diabetes and help control blood glucose levels.

Xultophy Ingredients

Each Xultophy injection contains:

  • Insulin degludec: a long-acting basal insulin that lowers blood sugar levels.

  • Liraglutide: a GLP-1 analogue that helps the body produce more insulin during meals and reduce blood glucose levels.

Xultophy uses

Xultophy injections are used to:

  • Control blood glucose levels in patients with type 2 diabetes.

Xultophy Insulin Dose

  • The usual dose is once daily, preferably at the same time each day.

  • If the dose is taken at a different time on the next day, make sure there are at least 8 hours between the two doses.

  • Xultophy pens do not need to be used with meals.

  • The injection is given subcutaneously in the front of the thigh, abdomen, or upper arm — not intravenously or intramuscularly.

  • The injection site should be changed with each use.
