Xultophy Ingredients
Each Xultophy injection contains:

Xultophy uses
Xultophy injections are used to:

Control blood glucose levels in patients with type 2 diabetes.
Xultophy Insulin Dose

The usual dose is once daily, preferably at the same time each day.

If the dose is taken at a different time on the next day, make sure there are at least 8 hours between the two doses.

Xultophy pens do not need to be used with meals.

The injection is given subcutaneously in the front of the thigh, abdomen, or upper arm — not intravenously or intramuscularly.

The injection site should be changed with each use.
Xultophy insulin side effects
Xultophy injections may cause some side effects, including:

Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar).

Skin changes at the injection site.

Contraindications
