Xitamet Ingredients

Each Xitamet tablet contains:

  • 50 mg of Sitagliptin: Belongs to the class of DPP-4 inhibitors, an enzyme that breaks down incretin hormones naturally produced by the stomach. Inhibiting this enzyme's activity and increasing incretins helps the body produce more insulin to lower blood sugar levels.

  • 850 mg of Metformin: Reduces blood sugar levels by decreasing hepatic glucose production, reducing intestinal glucose absorption, and increasing insulin sensitivity.

Xitamet is used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Xitamet Dosage
