Votrex 50 mg Pain Relief – 20 Tablets provide effective pain relief for conditions such as arthritis, osteoarthritis, acute gout attacks, and other painful inflammatory conditions.

Votrex Ingredients

Each Votrex tablet contains 50 mg of Diclofenac Sodium, a Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug (NSAID) that reduces inflammation and alleviates pain.

Votrex 50 mg Tablet Uses

Votrex tablets are indicated for the management of pain and inflammation in the following conditions:

  • Rheumatoid arthritis.

  • Osteoarthritis.

  • Ankylosing spondylitis.

  • Psoriatic arthropathy.

  • Acute gout attacks.

  • Post-traumatic and post-operative pain (e.g., dental or orthopedic surgery).

  • Primary dysmenorrhea (period pain).

  • Adjuvant treatment in severe painful inflammatory conditions of the ENT (ear, nose, or throat), such as otitis or pharyngotonsillitis.

Votrex Dosage

  • The appropriate dosage of Votrex is determined by a physician.

  • The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest possible duration.

  • It is preferable to take the medication before meals.

  • Recommended Dose: 75–150 mg daily, divided into two or three doses.

  • Maximum Daily Dose: 150 mg.

Votrex 50 mg Side Effects

Votrex may cause some side effects, including:

  • Dizziness.

  • Nausea and vomiting.

  • Diarrhea.

  • Dyspepsia (indigestion).

  • Abdominal pain.

  • Skin rash.

Contraindications

Do not use Votrex tablets in the following cases:

  • Hypersensitivity (allergy) to its ingredients.

  • Active stomach or intestinal ulcer, bleeding, or perforation.

  • History of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation related to previous NSAID therapy.

  • Hepatic (liver) failure.

  • The last trimester of pregnancy.

  • Heart failure.

  • Ischemic heart disease.

  • Peripheral arterial disease or cerebrovascular disease.

Drug Interactions

Inform your physician or pharmacist of all medications you are taking before starting Votrex, especially:

  • Lithium and Digoxin.

  • Diuretics.

  • Antihypertensive medications.

  • Cyclosporine.

  • Antidiabetic drugs.

  • Antidepressants.

  • Antibiotics.

  • Antiepileptic drugs (Seizure medications).

  • Cholesterol-lowering drugs (Statins).
