What is potassium sodium hydrogen citrate and what is it used for:

 

It is alkaline citrate used in the treatment of kidney stones.

Do not take potassium sodium hydrogen citrate:

 

Hypersensitivity to potassium hydrogen citrate

you have heart problems (congestive heart problems)

Warnings and precautions:

Other medicines and potassium sodium hydrogen citrate:

 

Tell your doctor or pharmacist of all the medicines you take, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.

aldosterone antagonists (epleron, sprinolactone), ACE inhibitors (perindopril, lisinopril),

NSAIDs (ibuprofen, diclofenac) and peripheral analgesics reduce the excretion of potassium through the kidneys.

Medicines containing citrate, which are supplied simultaneously with those containing aluminum, may enhance the absorption of aluminum.

If these medications are to be taken between adoptions there should be an interval of at least two hours.

How to take potassium sodium hydrogen citrate:

 

Adults and children over 12 years old

To reconstitute urine stones and prevent their recurrence: take 4 spoons (= 10 g granules) per day,

Divided into 3 doses after meals: Drink 1 scoop each morning and 1 noon and 2 each night after meals.

To prevent the return of calcium stones:

The daily dose should be 2-3 scoops (= 5 - 7.5 g granules) taken once in the evening.

If the pH is too low to take 3-4.5 scoops (= 7.5 -11.25 g granules), divided into 2-3 doses during the day

Usage Instructions:

 

The granules should be dissolved in a glass of water and then drunk.

Measure the pH of the urine: Immediately before receiving each dose, grab a strip of test paper, which is in the package, hold it with a clip (also included) and soak it in fresh urine.

Then compare the color of the wet strip with the color chart and read what is printed below the color corresponding to the pH.

So read the pH and the number of spoonfuls of granules drunk, recorded in the control calendar

Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.

Store at room temperature [77°F (25°C)].

Do not store above 30 degrees
