What are the uses of Trepadio?
Trepadio is used for adults and children aged 4 years and older to treat partial-onset seizures, with or without secondary generalization, whether used alone (monotherapy) or in combination with other medications (adjunctive therapy).
Dosage and Administration

Take Trepadio twice daily; once in the morning and once in the evening.

Try to take it at the same time every day.

Trepadio can be taken with or without food.

The dosage varies depending on whether it is taken alone or alongside other epilepsy medications.
Dosage for adults, adolescents, and children weighing 50 kg or more

Usual starting dose: 5 ml twice daily.

The doctor may increase the dose to 10 ml twice daily.
Dosage for children and adolescents weighing less than 50 kg

Usual starting dose: 0.1 ml per kilogram of body weight twice daily.

The doctor may then increase the dose by 0.1 ml per kilogram of body weight each week.

Maximum dose for children weighing less than 40 kg: 0.6 ml per kg twice daily.

Maximum dose for children weighing between 40 kg and 50 kg: 0.5 ml per kg twice daily.
