Strattera ( Atomoxetine ) 25 Mg 28 Tablet

Mechanism of action: Atomoxetine is a selective norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI). It works by increasing the levels of norepinephrine in the brain, which can help to improve attention and focus.

 

Therapeutic indications:

 

ADHD in children 6 years of age and older, adolescents, and adults

EDS in adults with narcolepsy

Method of administration:

 

Strattera should be taken once daily, with or without food, at the same time each day.

The starting dose for children and adolescents is 0.5 mg/kg/day. The dose can be increased gradually to a maximum of 1.8 mg/kg/day.

The starting dose for adults is 40 mg/day. The dose can be increased gradually to a maximum of 100 mg/day.

Strattera can also cause other side effects, such as decreased appetite, insomnia, nausea, and vomiting. These side effects are usually mild and go away on their own. However, if any side effects are severe or do not go away, it is important to talk to your doctor.
