Staquis ointment active ingredient

Staquis Ointment contains the active ingredient Crisaborole, a phosphodiesterase-4 (PDE4) inhibitor. It is an anti-inflammatory agent that helps maintain the skin barrier.

Crisaborole ointment 2% uses

Staquis Ointment is used to treat mild to moderate atopic dermatitis (eczema) in:

• Adults

• Children aged 2 years and older with up to 40% of body surface area affected

It is a non-steroidal eczema treatment.

Staquis ointment dosage and method of application

• Apply a thin layer of the ointment to the affected area of the skin twice daily: once in the morning and once in the evening.

• Gently massage the ointment into the skin until fully absorbed.

• If there is hair on the skin, apply in one direction to avoid irritation or inflammation.

• Avoid bathing, swimming, or washing off the ointment for at least four hours after application.

• Continue using Staquis Ointment as prescribed by your doctor.
