How to Use Sifrol 30 Tablets

Initial dose: Usually 0.088 mg three times daily (for immediate-release tablets) or 0.26 mg once daily (for extended-release tablets).

Dose may be gradually increased every 5–7 days.

Maximum daily dose: 3.3 mg.
For Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS)

The dosage is determined by the doctor.

Immediate-release tablets are taken once daily, 2 to 3 hours before bedtime.

Starting dose: 0.088 mg, which may be increased gradually every 4–7 days up to a maximum of 0.54 mg.
Administration Instructions

Tablets should be swallowed with water.

Extended-release tablets should not be chewed or crushed.

Should be taken at approximately the same time each day.

If the medication is stopped for a few days, treatment should be restarted at the lowest dose under medical supervision.
