Sabril 500 mg tablets are used alongside other medications to treat refractory partial epilepsy, with or without secondary generalization.
Each tablet contains 500 mg of vigabatrin, an antiepileptic agent that increases the concentration of GABA in the central nervous system, helping to inhibit nerve activity and thereby reduce seizures.
Used in combination with other antiepileptic drugs to treat partial seizures resistant to treatment, with or without secondary generalization.
Sabril may cause some side effects, including:
Hypersensitivity to vigabatrin or any component of the drug.
Consult a physician before using Sabril during pregnancy or breastfeeding; it should only be used if clearly necessary.
