Redon ingredients

Redon contains the active substance "Risperidone" , an antipsychotic, which helps balance chemicals in the brain and relieves symptoms of psychosis and schizophrenia.

Why is Redon used?

Redon is used to treat:

• Schizophrenia in those older than 13 years.

• Bipolar disorder in those older than 10 years.

• Irritation in autistic children aged between 5 and 16 years.

Redon dosage

• Redon dosage varies depending on the patient's condition and doctor's guidance.

• Schizophrenia treatment dose: starts with 2 mg (2 tablets) per day, the doctor can increase it the next day to 4 mg (4 tablets), and most patients feel better with 4 - 6 mg per day.

• Mania treatment dose (bipolar disorder): starts with 2 mg (2 tablets) per day, and can then be increased by the doctor depending on the patient's condition.

• The drug can be taken with or without food.

When does Redon effect start?

Redon may take several days or even months for the patient to notice an improvement in symptoms, as you may need a few weeks to reach the right dose for you.

Redon side effects

• Drowsiness during the day or difficulty sleeping at night.

• Movement issues, such as difficulty or muscle stiffness.

• headache.

• Abdominal pain.

• Change in appetite.

• Constipation.

• Diarrhea.

• Breast swelling, pain or milk leaking from the breast.

Redon contraindications

Reedon is not used in case of:

• Sensitivity to its ingredients.

• Low blood pressure.

• Arrhythmias.

• dementia.

• Diabetes.

• Epilepsy.

• blood clots or a family history of them.

Warnings & Precautions

• Heart disease.
