PIVOT 1.5 CAL is a complete and balanced, high-protein medical nutrition product based on hydrolyzed proteins. It is designed to meet the increased nutritional needs of patients experiencing metabolic stress, such as patients undergoing surgery, those with injuries or burns, and certain patients with head and neck cancer. It provides 1.5 kcal per mL and is intended for enteral tube feeding, either as a sole source of nutrition or as a nutritional supplement, under the supervision of a physician or dietitian.

Directions for Use of PIVOT 1.5 CAL

• PIVOT 1.5 CAL is ready to use and does not require reconstitution.

• Shake well before opening.

• Use according to the volume and feeding rate prescribed by the physician or dietitian based on the patient's condition and nutritional requirements.

• Administer through a feeding tube. A feeding pump or syringe may be used according to the prescribed feeding plan.

• Preferably administer at room temperature.

• Any additional fluids required by the patient should be provided separately, such as water used to flush the feeding tube, according to the instructions of the healthcare team.

• After opening, reseal and refrigerate. Use the product within 48 hours.

Main Ingredients:

• Water, corn syrup solids, hydrolyzed sodium caseinate, hydrolyzed whey protein, structured lipids containing modified marine oil and medium-chain triglycerides (MCT), soybean oil, canola oil, L-arginine, and short-chain fructooligosaccharides (scFOS).

• Also contains a blend of vitamins and minerals, as well as taurine, L-carnitine, and other ingredients to enhance nutritional value, stability, and texture.
