What is Pantomax?

One of the proton pump inhibitors (PPI), contains the active substance "Pantoprazole", which inhibits the pump that releases stomach acid, reduces the secretion of stomach acid, and helps alleviate the symptoms of esophageal reflux.

Pantomax uses

Pantomax 40 mg is used to treat:

• Symptoms of GERD, such as heartburn.

• Gastric ulcer.

• Duodenal ulcer.

• Erosive oesophagitis caused by oesophageal reflux.

• Helicobacter Pylori (with appropriate antibiotics).

• Zollinger-Ellison syndrome or diseases that cause increased stomach acid secretion.

Pantomax is used to treat GERD, helping to reduce stomach acid secretion and prevent it from returning to the esophagus causing irritation and inflammation, thereby alleviating symptoms of oesophageal reflux, such as heartburn.

Pantomax for Helicobacter pylori

Pantomax helps treat the symptoms of H.Pylori. It is not used alone but is used as part of a treatment plan with some antibiotics to overcome the H pylori, for at least two weeks.

Pantomax 40 mg dosage

• The recommended dose is one tablet of 40 mg per day.

• The daily dose may be doubled when needed, especially with no response to other treatments.

• Pantomax tablets should not be taken for more than 4 weeks without consulting a doctor.

Should you take Pantomax before or after food?
