Loceryl-Nail-Lacquer Solution 5 Ml

Loceryl Nail Lacquer 5 mL is a topical antifungal treatment containing 5% Amorolfine Hydrochloride as the active ingredient. It is used to treat onychomycosis (fungal nail infections) affecting the fingernails or toenails. The medication penetrates the nail plate to reach the site of infection, helping eliminate fungi and prevent their growth and spread.

• Treat fungal nail infections caused by dermatophytes, yeasts, and molds.

• Stop fungal growth and eliminate the infection.

• Form a water-resistant protective film after drying, allowing the treatment to remain effective even during bathing or washing the hands and feet.

• Provide continuous therapeutic coverage of the affected nail throughout the treatment period.

How to Use Loceryl Nail Lacquer

1. Clean and dry the affected nail thoroughly before application.

2. File down the affected part of the nail as much as possible using the supplied nail file. Use the file only for infected nails.

3. Apply the lacquer to the entire surface of the affected nail using the provided applicator.

4. Allow the lacquer to dry completely for a few minutes.

5. Apply once or twice weekly, or as directed by your healthcare provider.

6. Continue treatment until a completely healthy nail has grown back. This usually takes about 6 months for fingernails and 9–12 months for toenails.

Possible Side Effects

Loceryl may cause some side effects, including:

• Mild redness or irritation around the nail.

• Itching or a burning sensation at the application site.

• Minor changes in the appearance of the nail, such as brittleness or discoloration.

• Allergic skin reactions, although these are rare.

Stop using the product and consult your healthcare provider immediately if you experience signs of a severe allergic reaction, such as swelling or a widespread skin rash.

Precautions and Warnings

• Do not use this product if you are allergic to Amorolfine or any of its ingredients.

• Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes.

• Do not apply to the skin surrounding the nail unless advised by your healthcare provider.

• It is recommended to avoid using artificial nails or cosmetic nail polish during treatment.

• Wear protective gloves when handling organic solvents or strong chemicals to prevent damage to the protective treatment film.

• Keep away from direct heat and open flames, as the product contains alcohol.

• Keep out of the reach of children.
