Linex Capsules Ingredients

Linex capsules contain three types of lyophilised lactic acid bacteria, which regulate the intestinal microbiome balance, supporting digestive health and restoring its natural equilibrium.

Linex Capsule Uses

Linex is used as a preventive and supportive treatment for:

  • Diarrhea.

  • Abdominal bloating (Flatulence).

  • Digestive disorders caused by gut microbiome imbalance, such as gastroenteritis, or those resulting from broad-spectrum antibiotic therapy, chemotherapy, or abdominal/pelvic radiation.

Linex Dosage

  • Adults and children over 12 years: 2 capsules, 3 times daily.

  • Children (2–12 years): 1–2 capsules, 3 times daily.

  • Infants and children under 2 years: 1 capsule, 3 times daily.

How to Take Linex: Before or After Meals?

  • It is preferable to take Linex capsules with meals to avoid the harmful effects of stomach acid on the beneficial bacteria.

  • The capsules should not be taken with alcohol or hot beverages.

Linex Side Effects

Side effects from Linex capsules are very rare.

Contraindications

Do not use Linex capsules in case of hypersensitivity (allergy) to any of its ingredients.

Warnings and Precautions

Consult a physician before taking Linex, especially in the following cases:

  • Fever or body temperature exceeding 38°C.

  • Blood or mucus in the stool.

  • Diarrhea persisting for more than two days.

  • Severe diarrhea accompanied by dehydration and weight loss.

  • Intense abdominal pain associated with diarrhea.

  • Chronic diseases or compromised immunity (Immunosuppression).

  • Diarrhea in infants and children under 6 years must be treated under medical supervision.

  • Diarrhea during pregnancy or breastfeeding must be treated under medical supervision.
