Femara uses
Femara 2.5 mg tablets are used for the treatment of estrogen-dependent breast cancer in the blood as follows:

Adjuvant treatment for early hormone +ve breast cancer postmenopausal.

extended adjuvant treatment for women with early breast cancer after menopause who have previously received tamoxifen for 5 years.

A first-line treatment for advanced breast cancer which is hormone dependent.

Treatment of advanced breast cancer relapse or progression of the disease for women who have artificially induced postmenopausal state, who have previously been treated by anti-estrogens.
