Treatment works to prevent the formation of epileptic seizures or convulsions in the brain by inhibiting certain processes that help in the formation of epileptic seizures, and helps to control them.

The treatment does not cure epilepsy, but it helps control seizures in terms of reducing their recurrence, so it is not permissible to stop taking the treatment without consulting the doctor once the patient's condition improves, as seizures may reappear after stopping treatment.

Dosage:

The extended-release tablets are given once daily.
