Composition of Drolina Syrup

Drolina Syrup contains the active ingredient Furosemide, a diuretic.

Drolina Syrup helps eliminate excess water from the heart, lungs, liver, or blood vessels.

Dosage of Drolina Syrup

  • Adult dose: 40 mg daily or as directed by the doctor.

  • Take this medicine orally.

  • It can also be administered via a nasogastric tube or percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy.

  • It is preferable to take the dose in the morning.

Drolina Side Effects

Drolina Syrup may cause some side effects, such as:

  • Dehydration.

  • Changes in fluid or electrolyte balance.

  • Hypovolemia (low blood volume).

  • Increased creatinine and urea levels.

Contraindications

Drolina Syrup should not be used in cases of:

  • Hypersensitivity to its components.

  • Dehydration.

  • Anuria (no urine output) or oliguria (very little urine output daily).

  • Kidney failure or liver problems.

  • Severe electrolyte imbalance, such as high potassium or calcium, or low sodium or magnesium.

Warnings and Precautions

  • Difficulty urinating, particularly due to prostate enlargement.

  • Gout.

  • Low blood protein levels, which may cause swelling, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or stomach pain.

  • Liver congestion or other liver problems.

  • Kidney problems.

  • Brain disorders affecting the nervous system.

  • Porphyria.

  • Irregular heartbeat.

  • Old age.

  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding.
