Heart failure.
Heart failure following a recent heart attack.
Starting dose: 12.5 mg once daily for two days.
The doctor may increase the dose after two days to 25 mg once daily.
In heart failure, treatment may start with 3.125 mg twice daily for two weeks, then the doctor gradually increases the dose.
Dilatrend may cause some side effects, such as:
