Briviact is a medication used to treat epilepsy in children. It helps manage partial-onset seizures in both children and adults when taken in the doses prescribed by a doctor.
Briviact contains brivaracetam, an anticonvulsant that treats partial-onset seizures.
Briviact is used to treat partial-onset seizures in children aged one month or older.
The appropriate dose of Briviact is determined by a doctor based on the patient's age and condition.
Adult Dose: Starts at 50 mg twice daily, which can be adjusted to 25 mg twice daily or increased to 100 mg twice daily depending on the patient’s condition and tolerance.
Pediatric Dose (ages 1 month to 16 years): Determined based on body weight:
