Adrixa Ingredients

Each ml of Adrixa injection contains 4 mg of the active ingredient "Dexamethasone Phosphate," which possesses glucocorticoid activity that relieves inflammation and suppresses the immune system.

What is Ampoule Dexamethasone Injection Used for?

Adrixa injections are used for:

• Replacement therapy in cases of adrenocortical insufficiency, such as Addison's disease or bilateral adrenalectomy.

• Collagen diseases: Such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), polyarteritis nodosa, dermatomyositis, and acute rheumatic carditis.

• Pulmonary disorders: Such as status asthmaticus, chronic asthma, and sarcoidosis.

• Blood disorders: Such as leukemia, idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, and acquired autoimmune hemolytic anemia.

• Rheumatic diseases: Such as rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.

• Skin diseases: Such as psoriasis, pemphigus, localized neurodermatitis, severe seborrheic dermatitis, sarcoidosis of the skin, and contact dermatitis.

• Gastrointestinal disorders: Such as ulcerative colitis.

• Oedema: Such as cerebral oedema (brain swelling) or laryngeal oedema (throat swelling).

• Eye disorders: Such as allergic conjunctivitis, keratitis, chorioretinitis, optic neuritis, and anterior ischemic optic neuropathy.

• Neoplastic states: Such as cerebral neoplasms (brain tumors), hypercalcemia associated with cancer, and leukaemias and lymphomas in adults and children.

• Shock.

How to use Dexamethasone Injection?

• The doctor determines the appropriate dose based on the patient's condition.

• The usual dose: 0.5–24 mg daily, administered via intramuscular (IM) or intravenous (IV) injection.
