Verzenio 100 mg 14 Tablets are used to treat breast cancer that has not spread to nearby tissues or other parts of the body, in doses determined by the physician.
Verzenio contains the active ingredient abemaciclib, which is an anti-cancer medication.
Verzenio is used to treat certain types of breast cancer that have not spread to other parts of the body or nearby breast tissues.
When used in combination with endocrine therapy for breast cancer, the recommended dose is 150 mg twice daily.
Avoid taking the medication with grapefruit or grapefruit juice.
It is preferable to take the medication at the same time every day.
The duration of treatment should be determined by the doctor.
Verzenio may cause some side effects, such as:
Diarrhea
Nausea
Abdominal pain
Loss of appetite
Constipation
Hair loss
Fatigue
Lung inflammation
Infections
Weight loss
Verzenio should not be used in cases of:
Hypersensitivity to any of its components
Intolerance to certain sugars, as the medication contains lactose
