Neupro 6 mg patches are used in the following cases:
Treatment of Parkinsonism (Parkinson's disease) and its accompanying symptoms such as muscle spasms, tremors.
Restless legs syndrome.
Neupro patch for Parkinson's causes some side effects such as:
Nausea.
Hallucinations.
Joint pain.
Loss of appetite.
Skin rashes.
Erectile dysfunction.
A headache.
Diarrhea.
Drowsiness.
Insomnia.
Indigestion.
Neupro patch for the treatment of Parkinson's is contraindicated for people with excessive sensitivity to one of the components of the drug.
Neupro patches are not used in the following cases only after consulting the Attending Physician:
Pregnant, lactating.
Its effectiveness and safety in children's uses have not been proven.
Diseases of the heart, arteries.
Kidney disease.
Liver diseases.
Low or high blood pressure.
Sleep disorders.
Neupro patch is used to treat Parkinson's by applying it to one of the following areas (upper thighs, abdomen, upper torso, outer arms)
The place of applying the adhesive must be thoroughly cleaned.
It should not be applied to a place where there are wounds, burns, irritated areas of the skin, or areas where hair grows abundantly.
The neupro adhesive lasts only for 24 hours, it must be changed after the time has elapsed.
The new pro adhesive can be applied in the same place only after 14 days have passed.
Neupro 6 mg adhesive is kept in its original packaging out of the reach of children, at a temperature below 25 degrees Celsius.
