Azarga drops is one of the most famous and most important drops used to treat high eye pressure and glaucoma (blue water on the eye). Glaucoma is a pathological condition in which the pressure of the secreted fluid inside the eye increases. Glaucoma usually occurs due to the accumulation of this fluid, which is supposed to flow out of the eye.

This buildup occurs because the fluid exits the eye at a slower rate than it is being excreted. This high pressure damages the back of the eye, resulting in gradual vision loss. The damage to the eye and vision increases gradually to the point that a person may not feel blindness.

Azarga eye drops contain two active ingredients, brinzolamide and timolol.

Both substances reduce the production of fluid inside the eye and thus gradually reduce intraocular pressure.

Used to treat glaucoma (blue water on the eye)

It is used to treat high intraocular pressure

It is used to treat high intraocular pressure in cases where treatment with other drops containing one active substance has failed

How to use Azarga drops to treat high intraocular pressure:

Wash your hands well before and after use

Shake well before use

Tilt your head back and place one drop of the medicine in your eye

After use, keep your eyes closed for a minute or two. This helps the medicine stay in your eyes.

Do not touch the tip of the bottle to your eyes or hands to prevent contamination.

If you are using more than one type of eyedrops, separate each type by at least 5 minutes

If you wear contact lenses, remove them before using this medicine.

The lenses can be put back in within 15 minutes after the drops are put in.

It is not recommended to return your contact lenses if your eyes are irritated or inflamed.
