Duotrav 2.5 ml drop contains the active substances Travoprost ( one of the representatives of prostaglandins that increases the outflow of ophthalmic fluid into the bloodstream), and timolol (is a beta-adrenergic receptor blocker, helps maintain intraocular pressure by slowing down the process of formation of intraocular fluid)

Indications for use duotrav 2.5 ml drop

Duotrav drop is used in the following cases:

• Treatment of glaucoma.

• Treatment of high intraocular pressure.

• Irritation of the conjunctiva.

• Blurred vision.

• Burning eyes.

• Redness of the eye.

• Inflammation of the eyelids.

• Dry eyes.

• Headaches.

Contraindications for the use of duotrav eye drops

Some side effects may occur as a result of using duotrav drop such as:

• Hypersensitivity to one of the components of the duotrav eye drops 2.5 ml.

• Persons under 18 years of age.

• Precautions for use of duotrav 2.5 ml drop.

• Eye infections.

• Patients with diabetes.

• Patients with heart failure.

• High blood pressure.

• Hyperthyroidism of the thyroid gland.

• Periods of pregnancy,lactation.

How to use duotrav eye drops 2.5 ml

• Recommended dosage: one drop in the affected eye once a day.

• The doctor may change the dosage depending on your condition.

• If you forget to get the dose, get it as soon as you remember it.

• If the next dose is due, take only the next dose, do not take a double dose.

• Duotrav 2.5 ml drops are kept at a temperature below 25 degrees Celsius, out of the reach of children.
