Why use hyoscine butylbromide
Hyoscine butylbromide is used to treat spasms of the stomach, intestines, and bladder. It is also used to relieve symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
Do not take hyoscine butylbromide
If you are allergic to the active substances or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
If you suffer from glaucoma (glaucoma).
If you suffer from myasthenia gravis.
If you have or suspect you have a bowel obstruction.
If you have a condition that is blocked or not working properly (ileus).
If you suffer from an enlarged colon.
If you have an enlarged prostate gland (for men).
Warnings and precautions:
Tell your doctor about all of your health conditions, including:
If you have heart problems such as a fast heart rate.
If you suffer from hyperthyroidism.
If you have difficulty urinating.
If you have constipation.
If you have a fever.
If you suffer from liver or kidney problems.
Possible side effects
Stop using this product and seek immediate medical attention if:
I got a rash; Itch; red, blistered, or peeling skin; tightness in the chest or throat; trouble breathing, swallowing, or speaking; Unusual hoarseness or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat. The frequency with which these side effects occur is unknown.
Serious side effects:
Eye problems: pain and loss of vision

How to take hyoscine butylbromide
This medicine is intended for adults and children 6 years of age and older.
Take this drug as directed by your doctor.
The injection is given into a muscle or into a vein.
The usual dose is 2 tablets (20 mg) 4 times a day.
For children aged 6-12 years, the usual dose is 1 tablet 3 times a day.
For Irritable Bowel Syndrome, the usual dose is 1 tablet (10 mg) 3 times a day.
How to store hyoscine butylbromide
Store at room temperature from 68 to 77 degrees F (20 to 25 degrees C).
Keep this medicine out of the reach of children.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton.
The form and method of administration of hyoscine butylbromide 20 mg/ml solution for injection and 5 mg/5 ml syrup should be described according to the therapeutic indication and severity of disease for each individual patient.
