How to Use Zersa 600 Mg

• Use strictly according to physician instructions.

• Standard Adult Dose: 600 mg every 12 hours. The duration of treatment depends on the type and severity of the infection.

• Can be taken with or without food.

• Complete the Full Course: You must complete the entire duration of therapy—even if symptoms improve—to reduce the risk of infection recurrence or bacterial resistance.

• Missed Dose: Take it as soon as you remember, unless it is almost time for the next scheduled dose. In that case, skip the missed dose and do not double the dose.

Precautions and Warnings

• Contraindications: Do not use if you are allergic to Linezolid or any of the tablet's excipients.

• MAOIs: Do not use concurrently with Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs) or within 14 days of discontinuing them.

• Pre-existing Conditions: Use with caution in patients with uncontrolled hypertension, hyperthyroidism, pheochromocytoma, or carcinoid syndrome.

• Prolonged Use: Prolonged use exceeding 28 days may lead to blood cell suppression, optic neuropathy, or peripheral neuropathy; periodic complete blood count (CBC) monitoring may be required.
