Xcard Ingredients
Each Xcard tablet contains 2.5 mg of the active ingredient "Apixaban," an anticoagulant that prevents blood clotting by blocking the formation of Factor Xa, which is an essential component for blood coagulation.
What are the uses of Xcard?
Xcard is used for adults in:

Prevention of blood clots (Deep Vein Thrombosis) after knee or hip replacement surgeries.

Prevention of blood clots from forming in the heart in patients with an irregular heartbeat (atrial fibrillation) with at least one risk factor.

Treatment of blood clots in the leg veins (Deep Vein Thrombosis) or blood vessels of the lungs (Pulmonary Embolism), and prevention of the recurrence of clots in those areas.
Xcard Tablet Dosage

The physician determines the appropriate dose of Xcard tablets.

Try to take the tablets at the same time every day.

Xcard tablets can be taken with or without food.

The recommended dose ranges between 2.5 - 5 mg twice daily.
Xcard Side Effects
Xcard tablets may cause some side effects, such as:
