Voltaren 75 mg Injection Uses
Voltaren is administered via intramuscular (IM) injection as acute initial therapy for:

Inflammatory and degenerative forms of rheumatism: Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.

Painful post-traumatic and post-operative inflammation and swelling.

Acute attacks of gout.

Voltaren Injection Dosage for Adults

Side effects may be minimized by using the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary.

Duration of use: Voltaren injection should not be used for more than two days in adults.
Route of Administration: IM or IV?
Voltaren can be administered via intramuscular (IM) or intravenous (IV) routes. For IV use, Voltaren must be diluted with 0.9% saline or 5% glucose solution (buffered with sodium bicarbonate as per instructions) before being administered as a intravenous infusion.
