Panadol children syrup contains the active substance "paracetamol" 120 mg which helps to relieve pain and lower temperature.
Panadol syrup is used in:
Pain relief.
Reduce fever.
The dosage of Panadol for children varies by age:
Treatment of fever after receiving vaccine: 2.5 ml.
Relieving pain and relieving fever for other reasons provided that the child weighs more than 4 kg and is born after 37 weeks of pregnancy: 2.5 ml.
An additional dose of 2.5 ml can be administered after 4 - 6 hours if necessary.
Panadol syrup is not used for children younger than two months.
Children are not given more than two doses.
The doses must be separated by at least 4 hours.
If additional doses are needed, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Panadol syrup dosage for 3 - 6 months old: 2.5 ml 4 times per day.
Panadol syrup dosage from 6 - 24 months old: 5 ml 4 times daily.
Panadol syrup dosage for 2 - 4 years old: 7.5 ml 4 times daily.
Panadol syrup dosage for 4 - 8 years old: 10 ml 4 times daily.
Panadol syrup dosage for 8 - 10 years old: 10 ml + 5 ml 4 times daily.
Panadol syrup dosage for 10 - 12 years old: 10 ml + 10 ml 4 times daily.
You should not get more than 4 doses in 24 hours.

Panadol syrup is not used for more than 3 days without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.
The bottle should be shaken well for at least 10 seconds before use.
A doctor should be consulted before using panadol syrup for children in the case of premature babies and the child was less than 3 months old.
The lowest possible dose should be used to relieve symptoms.
Panadol syrup is not used in case of:
Allergy to paracetamol.
Children less than two months old.
