Uses of Anamix Infant MSUD
Anamix MSUD is an isoleucine, leucine, and valine-free powder formula used for the dietary management of Maple Syrup Urine Disease in infants from birth to 12 months, and as a supplementary feed up to 3 years of age.
Maple Syrup Urine Disease is a hereditary metabolic disorder that causes the body to have difficulty breaking down the amino acids used to form protein, specifically three amino acids: isoleucine, leucine, and valine.
Therefore, these amino acids may accumulate, leading to urine, earwax, or sweat that smells like maple syrup or burnt sugar. It may also cause serious complications, including developmental delays.
Anamix MSUD milk is an ideal choice for children with Maple Syrup Urine Disease because it is free from the amino acids that cause these problems for them.
Instructions for Use

The recommended concentration is 15%; meaning 15 grams of the product with 100 ml of water.

Each level scoop (5 grams) of powder requires 30 ml of water to achieve the required concentration. The doctor determines the appropriate dose based on weight, age, and medical condition.
The following are the instructions for use:

Wash your hands thoroughly and clean the preparation area.

Sterilize bottles and nipples.

Boil water for 5 minutes, then leave it to cool for at least 30 minutes, until it feels warm when placed on your wrist.

Pour the required amount of water into the sterilized feeding bottle.

Fill the provided scoop with powder and level it with a clean, dry knife. Do not press the powder into the scoop, and use only the scoop provided with the product.

Add the specified number of scoops of powder to the water.

Replace the cap on the bottle and shake until the powder dissolves.

Before feeding, ensure the formula is at the appropriate temperature by placing a few drops on the wrist.

Any remaining formula in the bottle must be discarded one hour after feeding.

Formula must not be reheated during feeding.
