Uses of Anamix MMA/PA Infant Milk
Anamix MMA/PA is a methionine, threonine, and valine-free powder formula. It is a medical food for the dietary management of children with Methylmalonic Acidemia (MMA) or Propionic Acidemia (PA), for infants from birth to 12 months, and as a supplementary feed up to 3 years of age.
Methylmalonic Acidemia is a group of genetic disorders that prevent the body from properly breaking down certain fats and proteins.
It may lead to symptoms in infants such as vomiting, dehydration, weak muscle tone, developmental delay, enlarged liver, and intellectual disabilities, and sometimes serious health complications.
Therefore, Anamix MMA/PA milk is a specialized formula for children with Methylmalonic Acidemia or Propionic Acidemia to avoid these health problems.
Instructions for Use

Wash your hands thoroughly and clean the preparation area.

Sterilize bottles and nipples.

Boil water for 5 minutes, then leave it to cool for at least 30 minutes, until it feels warm when placed on your wrist.

Pour the required amount of water into the sterilized feeding bottle.

Fill the provided scoop with powder and level it with a clean, dry knife. Do not press the powder into the scoop, and use only the scoop provided with the product.

Add the specified number of scoops of powder to the water.

Replace the cap on the bottle and shake until the powder dissolves.

Before feeding, ensure the formula is at the appropriate temperature by placing a few drops on the wrist.

Any remaining formula in the bottle must be discarded one hour after feeding.

Formula must not be reheated during feeding.
